Yoga Online

Let’s be completely honest and let’s start by saying that nothing beats going to an actual live yoga class to completely zone out, plus you are also learning yoga under the supervision of your teacher but I am writing this blog in favour of practicing yoga online. 

Yoga helps develop the connection you have with yourself and with the world around you. Digital yoga helps forge that special connection. As soon as you hit that play button you are transported to yourself to be able to explore and enjoy your body, mind, and soul. Allowing you to feel present in the moment. We all know that living in the present moment is where we find true happiness. So being part of an online yoga platform is of great benefit to your yoga practice and your life.

ANY TIME, ANYWHERE

I’ve practiced yoga online for about 10 years now and have loved it and still love that I can practice anytime and anywhere I want. Without having to arrive at a studio at a certain time. Therefore, the practice can be early morning or even late at night. I can take my yoga studio with me even when traveling, providing that there is an internet connection. It is just that simple. I can roll out my matt whenever, wherever. 

CHOICE

The other thing that I absolutely love is that I can pick the class that I feel my body might need that day. If I wake up in the morning with tight hips and I find a class that will sort that out. Also, the choice of length of class. Sometimes I might only have 10 minutes and sometimes I might have a whole hour. The fact that I can completely tailor my yoga practice to my specific needs of that particular moment is just another massive benefit. 

COMFORT

Online classes allowed me to grow my practice in the comfort of my own space at my own pace. Sometimes it is difficult to focus in a room full of other people. Having a beginner practice or an advanced practice can be taken completely in the comfort of your own timing. There is always the option to rewind and replay something you feel you might have missed. Building in a daily class has helped me develop my own relationship with yoga and deepened my relationship with yoga.

The pause that a moment of taking a yoga class creates has so much impact on my mental and emotional state. It’s has helped me find freedom in my physical body and made me feel more complete and connected.
